No wonder dem say na overhyping kill year 2020, i totally agree oh because na overhyping the kill something, cause when you constantly hype either a movie, music or event before they are out, people and fans generally look forward to having the best time of their life watching either that movie, listening to that song or attending that event and when these expectations are cut short there will be Fire on the Mountain oh according to singer ASA, and then everybody will need to be on the Run... So you think say na overhype kill Davido 02 Arena concert for london? i don't know about you but my expectations were cut short even though bible promise me say my expectations shall not be cut short, it's well oh even inside the well.
So today we will be discussing and making a comparison between the Davido's 02 Arena Concert in London and that of Wizkid in Dubai.
But wait we are talking about a live show, a concert not any where oh but in the 02 Arena and Davido brings people like Israel DMW abeg wetting Israel DMW dey find for that stage now? cos e no clear me oh abi e clear you? why Davido no decide to shock us and his fans too by introduce a big name na? probably Nicki Minaj or Khalid?
Abi is that not how Wizkid shock us? Recall that during Wizkid's MIL Concert in London was a back to back hit and even bursted our heads when midway into his performance he invited the American Superstar Chris Brown on stage? omo i no go the show but i cry for house as i the watch this this online....kai i miss and anybody that wasn't present at that show would also feel the same way.
While i still dey compare this two i con even remember say Our beautiful American Pop star and singer Rihanna with her partner ASAP Rocky also an American Rapper was both seen attending Wizkid's LA show in 2021 omo it was the talk of the town for months... there are levels to this things oh, like who drags that kind of international presence to one show? well StarBoy does...
So while am making all this comparison i begin to wonder what might be happening to DMW like with the reactions online and what i watched online from videos posted online we can say the show was a definition of not all that glitters is Gold some say the show was a 'flop' i think it was inappropriate planning, co-ordination and Mis-management for David DMW's Crew, like DMW needs help starting from their Dj, DJ ECool, that guy off me and a whole lot of other fans and people that watched out there... Baba how can you play it's Trendy Beats.com in the Middle of a Live Show? aaah? another flop on his part wey dey pain me na when this DJ comot a whole our Odogwu Burna Boy's part of the song 'Killin Dem' with Singer Zlatan Ibile like where is the fun in that after you catch the cruise meant for everybody alone?
Like while I'm still trying to "Calm Down" according to Singer Rhema DMW Crew shock me again... aah like what did Israel DMW go to do on that stage again? remind me please? i felt really embarrassed as that alone portrays a lot of fetish activity does DMW promote that kind or thing now? because i'm stilling trying to place my head around that performance... so while people they invite Chris Brown come stage others dey invite eeehhmm should i continue or i should off my Mic??
So while we are still evaluating DMW crew members lets take a look at his Manager? So eeh this Asa Asika Davido's Manager what does he have to say to defend himself cause me don't know again oh... i think it's time Davido revamps his workers if you ask me.... Because i feel Davido might be attaching Emotions to work... maybe he needs to emulate his contemporaries like Burna Boy and Wizkid ... Burna Boy's manager who is also his mother Bose Ogulu has unarguably a wealth of experience especially from her working with the legendary Fela Kuti on Stage we can see too from her organization's of Burna Boy's shows......
Like have you seen Wizkid's recent manger Jada Pollock at work? that girl is on fire... Let's not go too far take his recent show in DUBAI for instance did you livestream or watched live from the event location? whichever i don't think you'd be disappointed at what you are going to see, like the co-ordination, planning and managerial skills are top notch. So to ease your already stressed head about what the Wizkid Blu Fest Dubai show was all about here are some details ; the Blu Fest is the Newest experience in Dubai brought by one of the city's most exclusive nightlife venues- Blu Dubai... with a popular American Rapper like Tyga performing also at the show.... omo how we wan keep mouth continue this talk? is it not clear already who should be the G.O.A.T of stage performance?
I can invariably go further to give more instances and comparisons why our StarBoy deserves the G.O.A.T of stage performance but with all the facts above and the fact that this guy drags good international presence to his show, not to forget to mention that, that same 02 Arena when Wizkid hosted his own show he did so for 3 consecutive days due to increase in demand from fans that one na mad oh, with different artiste performing differently not to mention that tickets for each day was completely sold out oh, unlike ou Davido's own that was just a 1day something anyways shaa any fingers are not equal. Have you also seen the reactions of fans to his show in Dubai? In Fact Wizkid songs are amongst Top 10 on the Chart in Dubai, so i believe you'd agree with me now without any doubt that Wizkid Unarguably Deserves The G.O.A.T of stage Performance. Thank you.
